As Supporters returned to The Valley for the first time in 17 months - Charlton commence their 2021/22 Sky Bet League One campaign against Sheffield Wednesday (5.30pm). Servis were proud to support and provide Stewarding and SIA security personnel to ensure the safety of all spectators, members and staff. Saturday was a celebration amongst sporting fans. Charlton Welcomed back their beloved fans, conducted a tribute to a club legend and showed great appreciation to an owner who saved the club.
Servis worked closely with the Charlton management team to ensure a seamless hosting of their first Home game of the 2021 season. Our specialist services provided include NVQ Level 2 Stewards, SIA licensed Door Supervisors, SIA licensed Security Supervisors & mobile response unit.
Our main purpose was to observe crowd movement from the pitch side, endeavour to look for crowd distress, crowd surges, crowd control, crime deterrence, diffusion and detainment of violent individuals, surveillance and emergency service liaison. The game kicked off at 5.30pm but the matchday began long before with activities in the stadium including the introduction of the club’s new mascots, an interview with Thomas Sandgaard and the official opening of the Alan Curbishley Stand!
Event security & stewarding services require the most skilled, committed and knowledgeable individuals. Servis security personnel possess all of the aforementioned qualities and more, with abilities and experience honed through working both public and private industries of all sizes. Charlton Athletic The valley, has a capacity of 22,000 spectators, with masses of excited Charlton & Sheffield fans in attendance, adequate security procedures were key during Saturdays game. Servis operatives were on hand to ensure both Charlton and Sheffield Wednesday spectators where safe and everyone could have a great game safely!
